Day 01 / Arrive Chennai
Welcome to India! Arrive Chennai, meet assist
by our tour executive at the airport & transfer
to hotel. Overnight stay in Chennai hotel.
Day 02 / Chennai/Bangalore (Train)
Early morning, tranfer to the railway station
to board train for Bangalore. Arrive Bangalore
and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Bangalore
hotel.
Day 03 / Bangalore / Puttaparthi
After leisurely breakfast in the hotel proceed
for sight seeing tour of Bangalore. Bangalore,
known as the "City of Gardens." Popularly
known as the "Garden City", Bangalore
is situated, 3,000 feet above sea level and has
bracing, pleasant climate. It is well known for
its botanical garden and colourful markets. You
will also visit Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens containing
century-old trees, fountains, lotus pools, ornamental
fences, and one of the largest collections of
rare and exotic tropical plants in India. Afternoon
proceed by surface to Puttaparthi. On arrival
check-into the Hotel. Overnight stay in Puttaparthi
hotel.
Day 04 / Puttaparthi
Puttaparthi Prasanthi nilayam, Abode of highest
Pease, the main ashram of Sri Sathya Sai Baba,
is in the southwestern corner of Andhra Pradesh
at Puttaparthi. Sai baba has a huge following
in India and around the globe. He set up this
Ashram 40 years ago. He spent most of the year
here but some times moves to White fields Ashram
near Bangalore or Kodaikanal in Tamil nadu in
the hot season. Visitors are allowed to see the
devine supreme shri sathya sai baba from Morning
6.30 to 8.00 am and they can witness the prayer
with sai baba from 9.30 to 10.30 am. Again Bhajan
starts 5.30 pm till 7.00pm. The ashram sponsors
numerous services including School, a University,
a planetarium, sports grounds and a state-of-the-art
hospital that treats patients for free.
Day 05 / Puttaparthi
Full day is free at leisure to do individual activities.
Day 06 / Puttaparthi - Mysore
Morning after breakfast in the hotel, proceed
by surface to Mysore Visiting en-route the 10th
century temple Srirangapatanam, The summer palace
of Tipu Sultan, The last independent rules in
Southern. On arrival check-into the Hotel. Overnight
stay in Mysore hotel.
Day 07 / Mysore
After breakfast in the hotel, proceed for morning
tour of Mysore, known for its silk and fine craftsmanship
in wood, ivory and sandalwood. Visit the Maharaja's
Palace, which is lavishly decorated in a mixture
of styles, as well as the Zoological Garden, Mysore
Arts and Crafts Centre, and the Chamundi Temple
on a hill above the city. Drive to the Brindavan
Garden, which is beautiful illuminated at night.
Overnight stay in Mysore.
Day 08 / Mysore - Bangalore - Mumbai
Afternoon proceed by surface to Bangalore to connect
the flight for Mumbai. On arrival you will be
transferred to hotel. In the afternoon, city tour
of Mumbai. Visit the exotic and architectural
Malabar Hill, Kamala Nehru Park, the Hanging Gardens,
Parsi Towers of Silence and proceeds to the city’s
splendid Marine Drive to chowpatty beach, the
Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India , to
the Crawford’s market. Overnight stay in
Mumbai.
Day 09 / Depart Mumbai (Final Departure)
Transfer to the airport to board flight for onward
destination/back home.
